Cancelation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may force you to cancel. Since different tours involve different operators and cost structures, cancellation rules vary:
1. All Tours (except Treks and Amazon tours)
- More than 30 days before start: Full refund
- 15–30 days before start: 50% refund
- 8–14 days before start: 25% refund
- 7 days or less before start: No refund
- No-show: No refund
2. Treks
- 50% deposit is non-refundable once booked
- 7 days or less before start: No refund
- No-show: No refund
Note: Trek operators face high upfront costs (permits, staff, logistics). Green Andes Travel will always attempt to recover any costs from the operator and return them to you where possible.
3. Amazon Tours
- More than 65 days before start: Full refund
- 8–64 days before start: 50% refund
- 7 days or less before start: No refund
- No-show: No refund
Exceptional Circumstances
Green Andes Travel reserves the right to change, postpone, or cancel a tour in the event of force majeure, including but not limited to:
– Riots or strikes
– Civil unrest or terrorism
– Natural disasters, epidemics, or fire
– Adverse weather conditions
In such cases, Green Andes Travel cannot be held liable for cancellations or additional costs incurred.
